Q: What type of MicroSD is good to external storage camera models ?
A: Branded16/32G class 10 (is recommended)
The SD works for continuous recording and as a buffering to upload recorded video clips to cloud
or NAS. Only 8/16/32G formatted by PC FAT32 is readable by a PC/NB.
If a 64/128G is applied, please use this tool https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter/index.html to format first and insert the card to camera. Format it through app > setting > recording > format to make it readable by the camera.
The app - setting - recording - format can format any and larger size SD, but the content is not
readable by a PC/NB because it applies a very special partition.
To read the video recorded, go to > app > live view > Timeline to play back the recorded history.
If you like to keep longer recording history backup, please consider subscribing to Amaryllo service plans.
To verify a microSD health status (when an error message shows up), please always use this tool to do a complete check/formatting : https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter/index.html
